
McKenzie Westmore plays Sheridan Crane, the beautiful, seemingly fragile daughter of villainous patriarch Alistair Crane and his "late" wife, Katherine on the NBC hit daytime show "
Passions".
Born and raised in Southern California, Westmore comes from an Entertainment family. Her father, Michael Westmore, is a makeup artist who has won nine Emmys, and an Oscar for the film "Mask." Her mother, Marion Westmore, was a model for legendary costume designer Edith Head.
McKenzie's first film appearance was at the age of three when she played Robert DeNiro's daughter in the film "Raging Bull." She also appeared in "Star Trek 9: Insurrection." Her television credits include NBC's "Passions," "Star Trek Voyager," "Weird Science" "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Friends." Westmore has extensive theater training that includes the Lee Strasburg Institute and Uta Hagen's Master Class. She is a trained opera singer and has appeared in "Dido & Aneas," "The Sound of Music" and "Little Shop of Horrors."
Born on April 26, she is also a trained equestrian and certified personal trainer. McKenzie won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Heroine in 2001 for her role as Sheridan Crane on "Passions." She resides in the San Fernando Valley with her musician husband, Keith Volpone (aka Seven) from the country music band
Whiskey Falls and their seven-month-old son, Maddox.
